Want to be paid R1 million to study in 2024?

The Institute of Accounting Science (IAS) is offering a prize of up to R1 million to their Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy (PGDA) students for achieving a top 10 place in the SAICA ITC board exam, the route to becoming a South African Chartered Accountant. Students wanting to attempt their PGDA in 2024, and ITC in 2025, can apply for the accredited PGDA (also referred to as CTA) at www.ias.ac.za. for a chance to win.

"We run this competition each year to show our belief in the programme being built for top achievers. We believe that the CTA is more than just an education, we build people."

Terms and conditions apply.

The top 10 prize goes to the top achieving student based on the table below. If further students achieve a top 10 placing, the top student gets the prize in the table, and any other top 10 placing student will receive R50,000. Students not placing in the top 10, but achieving a pass with honours will receive R25,000.
